Filamu hiyo inatayarishwa na Aaliyah Productions Inc. huku Howard Braunstein (The Informant!) na Debra Martin Chase (The Princess Diaries) wakiwa watayarishaji wakuu. Bradley Walsh (Turn the Beat Around) ataongoza filamu hiyo ambapo script yake imeandikwa na Michael Elliot (Brown Sugar).
